  • Gray area - Is AI Evil? What The Bible Doesn't Say.

In this episode we're doing something a little different — this is a segment we call Gray Area.

Gray Area is where we step away from our Bible study series and just talk. One topic, one conversation, no filter. And this one has been on our minds for a while.

    We're talking about AI.

Honestly, this episode came from a place of realizing we had been sleeping on something that is already changing everything. We both started doing our own research around the same time and couldn't stop talking about it — so we figured we'd bring it here.

We talk through why we think this is the most important moment to pay attention to, what it actually looks like to use AI as an entrepreneur, and how we've been using it in our real lives and businesses. We also get into the question a lot of people in our world are asking — is it something Christians should even be using?

In this conversation we walk through:

    • Why AI is this generation's internet moment
    • How we're using it daily as entrepreneurs
    • You are the controller — AI just does the heavy lifting
    • How to actually write a good prompt (with real examples)
    • What the Bible does and doesn't say about AI
    • Why staying afraid of new tools will leave you behind

Like always, this is just us being honest about where we're at — learning, figuring things out, and sharing it as we go.

We're not experts. We're just two people who believe God gave us creativity for a reason — and we're not about to let fear keep us from using every tool available.

Acts 7 | Bold Faith That Costs Everything

In this episode we continue walking through the Book of Acts, covering chapter 7.

This chapter hit different for us. It’s one of the longest speeches in Acts, but also one of the boldest moments we’ve seen so far.

We walk through Stephen standing before the religious leaders and speaking honestly about the history of Israel — but also calling out what was really going on in their hearts. And even though he knew the cost, he didn’t hold back.

We talk about what real boldness looks like, what it means to stand firm in your faith, and how Stephen stayed focused on God even in the middle of intense opposition.

In this conversation we walk through:

    • Stephen’s speech and why it mattered
    • The response from the religious leaders
    • What bold faith actually looks like
    • Staying grounded in truth when it’s uncomfortable
    • Keeping your focus on God no matter the outcome

Like always, this is just us learning as we go — talking through Scripture, asking questions, and trying to understand it more deeply together.

This chapter really challenges what it means to stand for your faith when it’s not easy.

  • The Book of Acts Explained (Ch. 5-6)
    Apr 4 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode we continue walking through the Book of Acts, covering chapters 5 and 6.

These chapters were honestly a little heavier for us. We see how serious God takes the heart of the church, and at the same time, how quickly things begin to grow and get complicated.

We talk through the story of Ananias and Sapphira and what it reveals about honesty, motives, and reverence for God. Then we get into the continued opposition the apostles faced — being arrested again, told to stop preaching, and still choosing to obey God no matter the cost.

We also see the early church growing fast, which brings new challenges. There’s tension, complaints, and the need for structure, which leads to the appointment of the first leaders to help serve and support the community.

In this conversation we walk through:

    • Ananias and Sapphira and what we can learn from it
    • The apostles being arrested and released
    • Choosing obedience to God over people
    • The rapid growth of the early church
    • The appointment of leaders to serve within the church

Like always, this is just us learning as we go — talking through Scripture, asking questions, and trying to understand it more deeply together.

This part of Acts shows that even in the middle of growth, the church had to deal with real issues — and God was still moving through it all.

In this episode we continue walking through the Book of Acts, covering chapters 3 and 4.

This is where things really start to shift. We see the first public miracle through the disciples, and it opens the door for the gospel to be preached boldly in a new way.

We talk through the moment Peter heals the man at the gate, what that actually meant, and how it led to him preaching directly to the crowd about Jesus. We also get into the pushback that follows — the disciples being questioned, threatened, and still choosing to stand firm.

We also spend time talking about boldness — what it looked like for them, and what it could look like in our lives today.

In this conversation we walk through:

    • The healing of the man at the gate
    • Peter’s message to the crowd
    • The beginning of opposition from religious leaders
    • What real boldness looks like
    • The early church praying for courage, not comfort

Like always, this is just us learning as we go — talking through Scripture, asking questions, and trying to understand it more deeply together.

If you’ve been following along with us in Acts, this is where things start to get real.

In this episode we continue our study through the Book of Acts, walking through chapters 1 and 2 together.

We actually recorded this episode while on a trip to Arkansas in the Ozarks. We were surrounded by beautiful mountain views and decided it would be the perfect place to sit down and open up the Bible together.

In this conversation we talk through Jesus’ final moments with the disciples before His ascension, the promise of the Holy Spirit, and what happens at Pentecost when the Spirit is poured out and the early church is born.

We also talk about what it meant for the disciples to wait, Peter stepping up to preach boldly, and what the very first Christian community looked like.

Like always, this isn’t us claiming to have everything figured out — it’s just a husband and wife walking through Scripture together and sharing what we’re learning along the way.

If you’ve ever wanted to slow down and really walk through the Bible, we hope this encourages you to do that with us.

Season 5 is here — and we’re stepping into something new.

This season, as Husband and Wife we're walking book by book through Scripture, and we’re starting with the Book of Acts.

In this episode, we lay the foundation. We talk about the historical setting of Acts, who wrote it, why it was written, and what was happening in the world at the time. We unpack how Acts serves as the continuation of the Gospel story, how it bridges the life of Jesus to the birth of the early Church, and why the movement that began in Jerusalem still matters today.

    We explore:

    • Who Luke was and why his perspective matters
    • The timeline of events after the resurrection
    • The role of the Holy Spirit
    • The major themes that shape the entire book
    • How Acts moves from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth

Acts is more than church history — it’s the story of a Spirit-empowered movement. And the question we’re asking this season is simple: Are we still living like the story is continuing?

    Season 5 begins here.

    Let’s dive in.
