Eastern Georgia takes the warmth crown — 84 degrees with mostly sunny skies after patchy fog lifts by mid-morning. Here's where it gets interesting. Tonight, a line of thunderstorms develops across western Georgia between 6 P.M. and 1 A.M. Some storms could turn strong to severe with damaging winds and small hail. The threat is highest between I-42 and I-42. Metro Atlanta sees a 5042 degrees shot at showers and storms, with lows around 62 degrees. The real action happens tonight though. Storm coverage jumps to likely between **8 P.M.** and midnight. Some could pack heavy rain and gusty winds.
