  • My/Mochi Mango Ice Cream: Liar, Teaser, Pants in the Freezer (Ep 54)
    Feb 17 2026

Okay, let's be clear from the start. My/Mochi isn't the liar here. They do stretch the truth a little (along with the mochi), but the boys on the other hand—your own Froze Bros—come clean as big time liars. You gotta listen to the whole episode to know what we mean.

This week also marks a rare calendar convergence: Mardi Gras and Lunar New Year fall on the same day—something that only happens once every nineteen years. And we're celebrating immigrant food traditions with My/Mochi mango ice cream balls, a Japanese-American invention. Darren puts a whole mochi in his mouth on a dare, and we do some deep-dive detective work into the history of who actually invented mochi ice cream and who's profiting from it now.

In the closer, Darren tries frozen pączki (Polish Fat Thursday donuts) and king cake delivered from New Orleans, while Max strikes out at every grocery store in Philly.

Plus: the difference between "a few" and "a handful," the compatibility of monkeys and rats, and what happens when two grown men realize they've been telling everyone they know about injected penises.

  • Bridgford's Cinnamon Monkey Bread: Sexy Spice for Brosentines (Ep 53)
    Feb 10 2026

It's Brosentine's Day, folks. We're digging into Bridgford's Monkey Bread, a sticky treat with roots in Hungarian-Jewish culture. Inspired by the cinnamon sugar coating, we debate which spice is the sexiest (and yeah, it gets weird) and we spend a ridiculous amount of time analyzing the exact order of the layers in a frozen PB&J sandwich (and it gets weirder).

In our game segment, Max and surprise guest Shaun suit up for Crush Ice, and they have to name the top 10 highest audience-rated winter Olympic sport movies on Rotten Tomatoes. They get off to a hot (cold?) start, but the boys get lost in the snow real fast and need some clues. We also break down the most absurd Olympic cheating scandal yet: male ski jumpers allegedly injecting hyaluronic acid into their penises to game their suit measurements.

Plus: breaking news on Minute Maid's frozen juice concentrate, Darren reveals his favorite band of all time, war declared on Food & Wine magazine, and frozen candy heart love notes (some actually legible) for everyone.

Love is in the air. Well, cinnamon sugar and hyaluronic acid are anyway.

  • The Big Game (Bonus Episode)
    Feb 8 2026

We recovered the lost footage from Super Bros Party II (Episode 52), and here's the game segment that went missing! Recurring guest Shaun created an original trivia game that tests Darren and Max's knowledge of frozen food timelines and corporate history. The rules are simple: match frozen food products to the years they were introduced.

In practice, it’s not so simple. Along with Shaun’s investigative research, you get big egos, bonus round wagers, and enough heated exchanges to rival the Super Bowl itself. Consider this a successful recovery—we got Max back in the game after all.

  • Super Pretzels and TGI Fridays Potato Skins with Shaun: Super Bros Party II (Ep 52)
    Feb 3 2026

The Froze Bros and returning guest Shaun gear up for the Big Game with two iconic Super Bowl snacks: Super Pretzel soft pretzels and TGI Fridays loaded potato skins. But the real entertainment might be listening to these dolts debate life’s most important questions: What’s the correct way to eat cake? And how often should you really be cleaning your air fryer?

The Bros also discuss casual dining chains, talk wings and burgers, and make Shaun cover up the NFL logo on his jersey on an audio podcast (and he does it…lol). In the end, Darren and Max are at odds over one of this week’s foods. Will brand loyalty and nostalgia or corporate disgust prevail in the end?

Plus: Unfortunately, there is no plus this week. During a game segment at the end of this episode, we lost Max's audio. We're working with our recording software to see if we can recover it, but honestly, the outlook is about as warm as a freezer in February. In the meantime, we're releasing the rest of the episode, and we'll publish the game segment as soon as we can recover it. Consider this a flag on the play that we're calling timeout to fix. We'll get Max back in the game as soon as possible!

  • Dr. Praeger’s Spinach Littles: A Froze Bro, a rabbi, and a raspberry walk into a spa… (Ep 51)
    Jan 27 2026

The Froze Bros wrap up Healthy January and celebrate their 50th episode (50, 51, whatever) by reviewing Dr. Praeger's Spinach Littles—fun-shaped veggie nuggets in the form of dinosaurs, teddy bears, and stars. But the real backstory here is the origin: how a catastrophic accident on Christmas Eve 1988, a prophetic rabbi, a struggling gefilte fish company, and two cardiac surgeons came together to create sensible frozen foods.

Darren returns from a Disney cruise with tales from the Frigidarium (yes, it's exactly what it sounds like), reports on Dole Whips and piña coladas, and demonstrates his new math skills by converting every number to 35 before doing calculations. Max discovers chocolate “enrobed” raspberries, shows off his mini ice cube mold from a Froze Bros fan, and wonders whether all rosé is sparkling (no, Max, it's not).

Plus: a brand new trivia game called Bigs and Littles tests Max's pop culture knowledge across 25 clues. Can he tell the difference between Big Macs and Little Caesars, Bigfoot and Little Women, Big Trouble in Little China and Little Bighorn?

This episode is kind of a big deal. Or is it a little one?

  • Tabatchnick Low Sodium Vegetable Soup: Now We Know Our ABC’s (Ep 50)
    Jan 20 2026

Max and Darren continue Healthy January with Tabatchnick's Low Sodium Vegetable Soup, and Darren discovers a family-owned company he can't help but love. The Bros don't realize until mid-meal that they're eating alphabet soup—a whimsical surprise that sparks conversation about split PEA, G&T’s, PBS, and the infamous D.

ICYMI, Darren shares the remarkable history of the Tabatchnick family: over a century of soup-makers; charitable donors to soup kitchens, UNICEF, and USAID; and resilient AF through generations of hardship. (RIP, Ben 2014.) TBH, these people are absolute mensches. BTW: A discussion about Southern Pie Company from ATL, GA leads Max down a dark tangent about Maurice Sendak's animated short In The Night Kitchen (courtesy of Max's parents’ HBO recording on VHS).

FWIW: GF OREOs, TBD on split vs non-split peas, FYI the meaning of pareve, MSG, and a little NaCl FTW. And PS, Max tests Darren's knowledge of health food store names IRL, and NGL the results are... surprisingly A-OK? LOL

  • FatBoy Birthday Cake Ice Cream Sandwich Pops: The Frozus Maximus with Shaun(Ep 49)
    Jan 13 2026

In this week’s special birthday episode we celebrate the FatBoy himself: Max! The Bros, along with their good buddy Shaun, debate the history of the Happy Birthday song, discuss the awkwardness of office birthday parties, and deliberate the pros and cons of freezing fruit.

Then, a fateful trip in the Froze Bros Time Machine® transports our podcasters to Ancient Rome where Max and Shaun go head to head in the FROZUS MAXIMUS. This brutal trivia competition will test their knowledge of Latin, their online scavenging skills, and their very friendship. Who will come out on top and be crowned the winner of this venerable (made-up) tradition?

When the Bros return from their journey through time, they review FatBoy’s Birthday Cake Ice Cream Sandwich Pops and ponder if the company’s founder, Casper Merril, was the true FatBoy after all. Then they round out the episode with not one, but TWO ‘Freezer Burn’ segments. Finally, an episode that answers the question: Should birthday boys receive special treatment?

  • Dole Açaí Bowl: Açaí Ya Next Year! (Ep 48)
    Jan 6 2026

Max and Darren kick off 2026 with their first Healthy January episode, reviewing the Dole Protein Açaí Bowl, a frozen treat that brings together Brazilian açaí berries, an Irish-headquartered company, and Hawaiian tropical vibes into one purple smoothie bowl.

The Bros discuss the surprisingly low sodium content (a record for the show?), debate the merits of microwaving a frozen smoothie bowl versus letting it thaw, and wonder whether that distinctive flavor is açaí or pea protein.

This episode features the debut of New Year's Frozolutions: the Bros’ personal resolutions for themselves, resolutions for each other, and goals for the podcast as they head into a new year of frozen food reviews.

Plus: Is there whimsy in healthy food packaging? Does Darren's Disney World Dole Whip nostalgia make him biased? If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain, do you have half a brain? And why is the Dole Plantation still called a plantation when it's really just a tourist attraction with a maze?
