Welcome to the raw, real, and unfiltered conversations about the lived experiences of ADHD.

The ADHD Reframed Project is more than a podcast — it’s a movement!

This is a project for the Lost Generation of late-diagnosed adults.

🎙️🧠🎙️

This podcast is dedicated to shifting the conversation around ADHD from a deficit narrative to one of distinct strengths.

Hosted by Emma Craven, a passionate advocate for cognitive diversity, this podcast was born out of a desire to change how we view our minds and our potential.

The Dandelion Philosophy

At the heart of everything we do here is the Dandelion Philosophy. Traditional views often treat ADHD traits like weeds-things to be eradicated, contained, or managed. But we see things differently.

Think of a dandelion: in the wrong soil, under the wrong conditions, it struggles to take root. But when placed in the right environment, it is incredibly resilient, vibrant, and capable of thriving in ways other plants can only dream of.

You aren't broken; you might just be growing in the wrong soil. #ADHDDandelion

  • S2, Ep 3 | Rewire to Thrive: Keira Smith on Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy & Dopamine Regulation
    Jun 19 2026

"It’s a brain type, not a problem to fix."

This week, Emma sits down with solution-focused hypnotherapist Keira Smith to dismantle the medical deficit model and give you a practical blueprint for cognitive self-regulation. If you’ve been struggling with emotional dysregulation, chronic overwhelm, or the constant battle to manage your dopamine levels, this episode is a breath of fresh air. Keira pulls back the curtain on how solution-focused hypnotherapy actually rewires the brain, how to transition from high-masking survival to radical self-acceptance, and how to intentionally design an environment where your hyper-focus works for you instead of burning you out.

Stop treating your brain like a manicured garden that needs weeding. It’s time to lean into your organic cognitive strengths and learn how to navigate the world on your own terms.

    In this episode, we reframe:

    • The Blueprint Shift: Moving past the deficit narrative to view neurodiversity as a unique operating system rather than a clinical defect.
    • Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy: The neuroscience behind hypnotherapy and how it helps neurodivergent minds regulate stress and anxiety.
    • Dopamine Mapping: Actionable, ground-level strategies for managing emotional regulation and stopping the dopamine-chasing burnout cycle.
    • Hyper-Focus Mastery: How to stop viewing your hyper-focus as a flaw and safely harness it as a functional strength.
    • Co-Regulation in Relationships: Navigating communication, sensory boundaries, and emotional triggers with partners who process the world differently.

"Neurodiversity is just doing things differently. Stop fixing, start flourishing." #ADHDDandelion 🌾

  • S2, Ep 2|The ADHD Pharmacist: Osayomore on Medication, Hormonal Fluctuations, and Healthcare.
    Jun 10 2026

What happens when the person dispensing the medication is also the one navigating the neurodivergent brain.

This week, Emma sits down with ADHD Specialist Pharmacist Osayomore, the first non-ADHD guest, for a high-level, biochemistry-backed masterclass that shatters the mainstream myths surrounding ADHD treatment. Osayomore pulls back the curtain on how stimulants actually alter brain chemistry versus non-stimulants, why changing hormone levels can completely derail a medication’s effectiveness for women, and how to safely manage physical side effects. But this isn't just a clinical lecture—Osayomore shares her personal journey into late diagnosis and breaks down the exact high-impact cognitive tools, from mind mapping to body doubling, that keep her functioning in a demanding medical profession.

If you have ever felt dismissed by a clinician, confused by your prescription, or frustrated that your medication stops working at certain points in your monthly cycle, this conversation is your ultimate healthcare toolkit.

    In this episode, we reframe:

    • The Stimulant Blueprint: Shifting past the stigma to understand the mechanical reality of how ADHD medications affect the brain.
    • The Estrogen Drop: Why standard dosages fail when hormones fluctuate, and how women can track their cycles to advocate for personalized treatment.
    • Side-Effect Warfare: Practical, clinical strategies to mitigate physical side effects without sacrificing cognitive clarity.
    • Dismantling Medical Gaslighting: How to confidently communicate with clinicians, request reasonable adjustments, and command authority over your own healthcare plan.
    • The Practical Toolbox: Why clinical treatment must be paired with lifestyle scaffolding like body doubling and visual mind mapping.

"Medication is a vehicle, but self-advocacy is who drives the car." #ADHDDandelion 🌾

  • S2, Ep 1 | Comfortably Chaotic: Charlie Ruttle on the AuDHD Tug-of-War, RSD, and Burnout
    May 29 2026

What happens when one half of your brain demands absolute routine, and the other half thrives on total chaos?

    Welcome to Season 2.

To kick things off, Emma sits down with Charlie Ruttle, founder of the Comfortably Chaotic community, for a deeply relatable, unmasked look at late-diagnosed ADHD. Charlie opens up about the internal battle of balancing conflicting neurodivergent traits, the unexpected reality of how ADHD medication can amplify underlying autistic sensory traits, and the crushing weight of autistic burnout. From unpacking Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria (RSD) to navigating the physical toll of sensory overload, this episode is a survival guide for anyone trying to stop fighting their own brain.

If you’ve ever felt like a walking contradiction, Charlie’s journey from masking to radical self-acceptance and community advocacy will show you exactly how to embrace the chaos.

    In this episode, we reframe:

    • The AuDHD Paradox: How the need for strict routine and a craving for novelty coexist within the same mind.
    • The Medication Flip: Why treating ADHD can suddenly make sensory overload and autistic traits feel much louder.
    • The Anatomy of Burnout: Recognizing the warning signs of neurological exhaustion and how to recover safely.
    • RSD & Relationships: Navigating intense emotional dysregulation and the constant fear of rejection.
    • The Comfortably Chaotic Blueprint: How finding your micro-community is the ultimate antidote to systemic stigma.

"The chaos and the need for routine coexist—stop making excuses and start finding explanations."
