TEN & TWO I Ep. 25 - Choosing Children Later in Life

What happens when you get married later in life, decide you want children… and realize a decision from your past may have made that nearly impossible?

In Episode 25 of the Ten & Two Podcast, LeeAnn's sister Tina So'osemea and her husband Jaicob join us to share their incredible journey of choosing to pursue children later in life.

Years before their marriage, Jaicob had undergone a vasectomy. But as their life together began and their hearts changed toward having children, they faced a major decision: Would they accept that the door was closed, or would they pursue the possibility of opening it again?

Jaicob and Tina take us inside the decision to pursue a vasectomy reversal, the fears and uncertainty surrounding the medical process, and what it was like to move forward knowing the odds were stacked against them.

They also share candidly about the waiting—the moments when faith was tested, when there were no guarantees, and when trusting God meant surrendering an outcome they desperately wanted.

And then… the moment they discovered it had actually happened.

This conversation is about more than a vasectomy reversal or an against-the-odds pregnancy. It's about faith, surrender, the decisions we make about family, and learning to see children not simply as something to plan around or limit, but as a gift worth valuing and pursuing.

If you've ever wondered whether it's too late, wrestled with the decision to have children, or found yourself trusting God for something that seemed medically or naturally unlikely, this conversation is for you.

"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him." — Psalm 127:3

  • One Generation Can Change Everything
    Aug 7 2026

TEN & TWO | Ep. 24 — One Generation Can Change Everything

This episode is close to home — literally. We're sitting down with Andrew Rampulla and Rick & Gloria Pajic, our parents, to talk about where our families started: two households with little to no relationship with God, and the moments that changed everything. There was no example to follow, no "this is how it was done before us." Just trial, error, prayer, and a decision to build something that didn't exist yet in either family line. We talk about what home looked like before Christ, the moment each of them gave their life to Him, what it cost relationally and personally to go first, and how that one decision reshaped the direction of our families for the generations that came after — including us, and now our own kids.

This is a conversation about where we actually come from, and why one generation saying yes to Jesus can change everything that follows.

Main scripture: Deuteronomy 6:6–7 / Joshua 24:15 — "But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

    TEN & TWO | Ep. 22 — Raising a Prodigal Child

Guests: Pastors Frank & Kathleen Nevarez, C3 Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AZ) Every parent who has raised a child knows the ache of watching them make choices you can't control. For Pastors Frank and Kathleen Nevarez, that ache came with a unique weight — leading a church while watching their own son, Daniel, walk away from the faith they'd built their home on.

In this episode, Frank and Kathleen open up about the years Daniel spent wrestling with addiction, identity, and distance from God — and the harder, quieter years they spent choosing to keep loving him without losing themselves in the process. They share what it costs to shepherd a congregation while your own household feels like it's unraveling and what prayer actually looked like when hope felt thin. This isn't a tidy story. It's a real one — about a father and mother who refused to stop believing, and a son who found his way home (and now in ministry). Whether you're currently in the middle of your own waiting season or watching someone you love drift, this conversation is for you.

Main Scripture: Luke 15:11–24 — the father who watches, waits, and runs.
