You probably guessed it from the design attached—it’s none other than the visionary founder leader of KBLA TALK 1580, @therealtavissmiley! As we continue to celebrate Tavis’ 60th birthday and his recent receipt of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden, we dive into his powerful new book, “Covenant with Black America: Twenty Years Later,” a compelling collection of essays from today’s most influential voices. The book tackles crucial issues like equality, homelessness, and environmental and climate justice that continue to impact the Black community. What a timely and appropriate discussion for today’s social landscape! Needless to say, we had a lot to talk about! Don’t miss out on this must-listen episode!
