We're halfway through series 22 and this week it's all about highfalutin prize tasks, the contestant that mostly resembles a sexy shetland pony trotting around Dartmoor, Isy's world of velvet, and cookies from Chateau Marmont. Plus, Jack brings in some mid-series stats, and is Nina doing a Jenny Eclair?

Jack and Jenny are back to break down Episode 4 of Series 22. The prize theme is "juicy", an under-table task raises a lot questions, Chloe carries two armpit-averse teammates through some armpit art and someone has to convince everyone they're wearing a secret workplace earpiece. And is the closest we've ever come to a perfect episode?

Plus your emails: a listener corrects Alex on the finer points of gleeking, and another spots a possible sausage machine callback in the Series 22 trailer.

This week it's all about things that make us feel safe, how to make someone cry with our without onion beards, gargoyles wearing spanx, standardised B.O.S.N.A.C forms, and whether or not gleeking was an American middle school epidemic. Plus a listener writes in with some important information about KBN's (Kevin Bacon Numbers) and we have our first task hack of the series.

We're fully in to the new series now and it only feels right to start the episode with a bit of Alex Horne fan worship. And, while we get to grips with smile muscles, lucky pants, and the size of beans, we make time to visit some of the more serious questions too: when should pants go into 'oven cleaning mode'? What happened to the cheeses in Jesus? Why doesn't 5,098 beans sound like enough beans? And what is the history behind Giant Monkey?

Plus listeners write in with some Greek lessons, the whereabouts of Greg's bin and some news from New Zealand.

We have officially met the series 22 Taskmaster cast - Nina Conti, Chloe Petts, Matt Lucas, Isy Suttie, and Richard Ayoade - and it's off to an excellent start. Is it a first for approaching Greg's throne so early on in the series? How far can droopy tights droop? Where did that secret tunnel fit into the Taskmaster house floor plan? It's all up for discussion! Plus, Jenny thinks she remembers a gold vs. yellow argument from the past...

Series 22 is almost here, and before it lands we're doing our deepest of deep dives into this year's cast: Chloe Petts, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas, Nina Conti and Richard Ayoade. We talk tallest-ever line-ups, dodgy internet height stats, seat-number superstitions, the "class of '74–'78" age cluster, university vs. Footlights, and Jack's ever-evolving, fully unhinged statistical model covering everything from star signs to marathon times. Plus: how Jenny helped Isy learn to drive, Nina Conti's surprisingly stacked filmography, and another series of wondering whether the real winner will be stats or instinct.......

Pack your passports, Jenny and Jack are off to the International Taskmaster YouTube page to explore the distant shores of Taskmaster Denmark, specifically episode 5 of the first series. So how does it compare to ? Jenny and Jack discuss!

Plus, with the news that the new UK series 22 is now imminent, Jack and Jenny prepare for next week's SERIES 22 PREDICTIONS. Send all yours into fans@taskmaster.tv.

In this episode Jack and Jenny revisit Series 7, The Pendulum Draws the Eye - featuring Phil Wang, Rhod Gilbert, Jessica Knappett, Kerry Godliman and James Acaster. Body parts get complicated and Phil’s costume is shown off to its full effect.

Also discussed; are split tasks fair? Can placenta art be called beautiful? And an email sets the theme for making the next episode international.
