Meeting Bob Dylan at age eight on a Woodstock lawn is one heck of a "how it started" story. Jami D of Forever Young-The Music and Back Pages of Bob Dylan joins TOP TALENT to talk about her lifelong connection to the legend and how she’s brought a 10-piece Dylan tribute to life.

She also floored me by asking if I wanted to be their guest musician to play one of his songs at the Woodstock Playhouse on Sunday May 24th as they celebrate Dylan's 85th birthday! How do you think I responded?.."Sorry I'm busy?" So I will be there! Hope to see you!. Tix at the link below..

There's always "Sunny Skies" when I get to see his "Smiling Face" online saying that he is coming to the Capital Region to perform his amazing tribute to legendary artist James Taylor. He is "Sweet Baby James-the Ultimate James Taylor Tribute Artist Bill Griese. Nationally recognized as the definitive JT interpreter.

This is my second time speaking with him, and I think he will agree that it's never an "interview" per-se, it's more of a musical B.S. session (in a very good way). You will see! We talk music, James' unique guitar playing so difficult to emulate, Bill's work ethic in recreating the sound, why he will never be able to escape the comparison of his voice to James, and much more!

Bill also has a solo career under his own moniker, and has a new album out called "Closer To Home" that you can find on all the major services.

Wow-how can you possibly pay the ultimate tribute to such an iconic band -well, INSTITUTION -as the Grateful Dead? You can see them Sat Mar28th at Lark Hall, Albany at 7:30pm. But listen to this podcast and findi out about this incredible group of NY based musicians led by an amazingly multitalented singer, guitarist and arranger-David Mendelsohn (yes—the same Mendelsohn who I interviewed with the Yacht Lobsters, an equally amazing Yacht Rock band! ). These guys are dedicated, top notch singers and instrumentalists!

So join us as we take a deep dive into the immense catalogue that the Dead racked up in their several decade run, and we discuss the nuts and bolts of putting together the ultimate tribute to the ultimate jam band.

Whether you are a Deadhead or a casual appreciator, you’ll really enjoy the knowledge that David has about Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir (who recently passed) and the rest. (but will he reveal part of his set list at Lark Hall, Albany on Sat.Mar 28th? ....hint-YES!)
