  • Being Too Understanding
    Oct 15 2023
Being an understanding person is a great thing, you can be someone's safe place, you can comfort people, you can see the world with different perspectives and put out immense empathy in the world you live in. Putting yourself into someone else's shoes to make sure you understand them and their reasons well is a good thing to do but what if you end up losing yourself in the process? What if you forget to validate your own suppressed opinions and thoughts in the process of trying to be accepting towards others?

  • Outgrowing Friendships
    Sep 14 2023
Losing friendships is brutal to deal with but what's more difficult to accept is someday slowly outgrowing the friendships you once cherished and loved. People change and who they identify themselves as also changes over time. We all have learned that eventually, we lose touch with our friends, we get into fights, and we push each other away but what if it was never intentional? What if it all happened before you even knew it? This episode focuses on this heavy feeling of outgrowing the people you loved once or still do. The things that time can change and how it may effect you.

  • Academic Validation = Academic Burnout?
    Jun 14 2023
Everytime I would see a senior sharing there experience and how they prepped for their final exams, they would always paint an image of how they struggled, and prioritised studies and scoring a perfect score above anything else. But as soon as I was in their shoes once I had to prepare for my finals, I knew they lied... They would often hide the most important piece of information that should have been shared with us, and that's about how we would have to face times where we could do anything else but study, how it would physically be impossible for us to take care of ourselves at times. So i decided to talk about my experience with exams, and also a little reminder that you too need a quick break from all the labour :')
