    The Winter Element is associated with Water in TCM. If you can imagine water running deep under icy rivers, creeks, and lakes, you wil get an idea of how we respond to this time of year. The organs and meridians associated with the Winter Element are the Kidney and Bladder. The main feelings that might take center stage are fear and a sense of hopelessness. To balance these energies, place your left hand flat across your forehead and your right hand on the back of your head, behind your eyes. Hold for at least 3 minutes or until you feel a shift.
