Welcome to Season TWO of Get the Pitcher podcast.
In this episode, we're kicking off the season discussing the vessel (the person). It's important that we take care of our vessels by following the Word's instructions. How you operate and what you say is a reflection of who you are.
Matthew 12:34 tells us, "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." The heart is what shapes the vessel, so whatever you allow into your heart, you allow it into your vessel, and it shapes the course of your life. (See Proverbs 4:23 NLT)
How do you want your life to be shaped? By others? By the enemy? By your own knowledge? Of course not. Those things are inconsistent, but the Word of God never changes. To take care of the vessel properly, you have to fill your heart with the Word of God only.
