À propos de ce contenu audio

Join Tom and Bernard, two Blackpool FC fans, for The Seasiders' Shenanigans, a comedy podcast that tackles the highs and lows of following the Tangerines with a healthy dose of laughter and absurdity.

Tom, your knowledgeable and ever-patient host, attempts to provide insightful football analysis, while Bernard, with his endearingly off-beat observations and hilarious non-sequiturs, ensures the conversation veers wildly off-topic.

Expect match reviews (kind of), transfer gossip (maybe), and plenty of laughs as this unlikely duo navigates the rollercoaster world of League One football.

Subscribe now for your weekly dose of Blackpool FC banter, with extra helpings of silliness and seaside shenanigans!

    • He Forgot Dad Again
      Jan 15 2026

This episode starts with “Are we ready” and somehow ends with the same question.

Tom and Bernard talk about Ipswich away, which is hard to say, set off at six in the morning, decide the game was boring, and confirm that Blackpool lost. There is pie talk, pint prices, coughing, and an announcement that Tom may be heading for the old people’s home.

There is an incident at Ipswich that nobody enjoyed, followed by a long stretch where nobody can remember who went with them, who Dad is, or who Dan might be. Dad is eventually found. Dan remains a mystery. Someone breaks the microphone.

The episode then jumps to Wigan where Blackpool win two nil, there are no pies at all, sweets are eaten instead, tickets are forgotten, and Bernard loudly shouts Up the Pool in a car park full of Wigan fans.

Several attempts are made to finish the podcast. They do not work. There are warnings about false teeth, smoking, being quiet at football, and who is allowed to talk. Eventually the episode ends with Over and out, followed by more talking, and then Up the Pool one last time.

Nothing is in the right order. Everything is said at least twice. That is the episode.

    • He Was on the Bench
      Dec 19 2025

It is a pre Christmas episode full of laughs, football chat, and classic Seasiders Shenanigans. Tom and Bernard look back at a dramatic two all draw where Blackpool came back from two nil down, before turning their attention to the next game against Wigan.

There are plenty of mixed up names, favourite players being cheered before they even come on, and the usual gentle confusion that makes the show so enjoyable. Add in talk of pies, noise complaints, and Bernard’s trademark matchday excitement, and you have a warm and funny episode from start to finish.

A relaxed and cheerful listen full of friendship, football, and the moments that make Seasiders Shenanigans feel special.

    • Up the Poo, Three One
      Nov 25 2025

The team return after a short break with another joyful dose of Seasiders’ Shenanigans. This episode is full of warm laughs, mixed-up names, and the kind of gentle chaos that makes the show what it is. They look back at Blackpool’s three one win, look ahead to Burton Albion, and share daft ideas about turning up to away days on a tractor or even a horse and cart.

There are shout outs to the regular matchday gang, plenty of friendly teasing, and the usual moments where names get muddled and everyone just ends up laughing. It is a simple, cheerful episode and a lovely return for the Seasiders.
