“Vision”… just mention the word “Vision” and it stirs up a myriad of very impassioned opinions. It is a word that has varied meanings and inferences depending on what circle of faith you are in. My intent in this episode is to specifically address the misuse of Habakkuk 2:2 when it is used as an example, pattern, or instruction for Christians to “write down their vision” as an expression of empowered faith and that because you have “written it down” God is somehow obligated to fulfill your vision, dreams, and desires! In this episode we are going to take a brief look at Habakkuk, particularly chapter 2 and verses 2 through 4.

Along with great freedom in Christ there comes great responsibility in our relationship with other believer’s, particularly those who are new believer’s. There is to be a kind and gracious consideration of those who do not yet fully understand that in Christ, believers are liberated from rules, regulations, and requirements that are often perceived as necessary for salvation… great care is to be taken so that “liberty” does not become a stumbling block in another believer’s faith walk. In this episode we take a look at Romans 14 and I Corinthians 8 and the use, meaning, and implications of “do not put a stumbling block in your brothers way”

Forgiveness is an extremely important and essential aspect of our relationship with God, in fact without forgiveness we cannot have a right relationship with God. This is also true of our relationships with others, we cannot have a deep abiding and meaningful relationship with others without forgiveness. “Forgiveness” in it’s various word forms is mentioned approximately 240 times in the Bible so it is obviously very important subject and that is the focus of this episode.

Jezebel is one of the most if not the most evil and wicked women in the Bible, she was corrupt and contaminated to the core. Everything we know about her from scripture reveals a person that exudes a passion to pursue and promulgate evil and wickedness everywhere within her reach. There have been literally thousands of failed rapture prophecies, in fact, I can make this statement with absolute assurance… to this day, every rapture prophecy that has been made predicting the day and the hour that the rapture was to occur… has proven to be 100% false… every single one! So, the track record so far for those making these kinds of prophetic statements and predictions is perfect… failure, and yet they continue to entice millions with claims of special insight that only they have, unique information revealed just to them… and if you buy their book and video series then you can be in on the secret too! The “little god’s” theology is based primarily on Psalm 82 verse 6 and John 10 verse 34 and a couple of other verses. The basic, simplified premise of this teaching is that since we are created in “God’s image” (Genesis 1:27) we are then, in essence deity ourselves and therefore essentially anything that God can do we can also do… for example, we can speak things into existence. But is this actually what these passages are teaching… let’s find out!

Every Christian is involved in spiritual warfare, every day, whether they realize it or not. This battle is on three fronts… the world (I John 2:15 - 16); the flesh (Galatians 5:16 – 21); and the devil (I Peter 5:8). In Ephesians 4:27 Paul speaks specifically about warfare with Satan, he warns believers not to give a “foothold” or “opportunity” for Satan to influence our life.
