  • The Moon Has Nothing of Its Own - Kollel Toras Chaim All Shiurim
    Oct 28 2026

    | R’ Moshe Chaim Eade — Shiur 6

You spent weeks looking for the sechel in everything. Then the Rebbe tells you the light is too big to get, unless you come through the Nun. This shiur stays on that one turn. The moon has no light of its own. It only receives. The Rebbe says that’s the avodah, and that refusing to receive is Esav.

    The Torah in this shiur
    • Review: Through Torah, all tefilos and bakashos are accepted. What’s missing is chen. The chen fell “by them” (Esav), and the avodah is to bring it back.
    • The sechel: Look at the sechel in every davar, then connect to it. That sechel is the ches, the chayus, the reishis. It ties to Yaakov, who earned the bechorah.
    • The turn: That light is so great it’s impossible to reach, unless through the Nun.
    • The Nun is the Levanah: The moon has no light of its own and only receives from the chesed, the chochmah, the sun. A ches plus a Nun is chen.
    • The goal: The moonlight becomes like the sunlight, which is Mashiach.
    • Esav: One who doesn’t connect to the sechel, chochmah, and chayus is Esav. He despised the bechorah. He is the dark side of the moon, the side that never wants to receive.
    • The pasuk to end on: Lo yachpotz kesil b’seivunah, ki im b’hisgalus libo. The fool doesn’t want to understand. He wants whatever his heart reveals.

    Questions the shiur leaves open

These are not answered, on purpose.

    1. If you look but don’t connect (mistakel without mekusher), did you do half the job?
    2. Temimus or sechel? Are you the simple Yid or the intellectual? Or both?
    3. Does the Nun go up to receive the ches, or does the ches come down and the Nun builds a vessel? Or is it just a change of position, like the moon?
    4. Does the Nun do something, or do nothing?
    5. Is there any chesed at all on Esav’s side? Where does his chen come from?
    6. How do you know when to move on from one sechel (the coffee) to the next (shiur)?

  • Why Evil is Trying to Hide Your Light - Kollel Toras Chaim All Shiurim
    Oct 21 2026

    | R’ Moshe Chaim Eade — Shiur 4

What if the deepest wisdom in life is learning to recognize Hashem within everything we experience?

In Shiur 4 on Likutei Moharan, Torah Alef, R’ Moshe Chaim Eade explores Rebbe Nachman's teaching of seichel sheb'chol davar—the Divine wisdom hidden within all of creation.

Through the deeper meaning of Yaakov and Esav, the concept of Chochmah, and the spiritual significance of the bechorah, we discover how Torah teaches us to look beyond external appearances and uncover the Divine purpose at the heart of life.

R’ Moshe Chaim also explores the relationship between Chochmah and spiritual vitality, why Hashem's light can feel overwhelming, and how the first step toward genuine connection is recognizing the Divine presence within each experience.

An inspiring exploration of finding meaning, illumination, and greater closeness to Hashem in everyday life.
