The FBI's leaked document characterizing all patriotic symbols as possible signs of militant violent extremism is examined. The root of "fighting the patriot movement" is also briefly analyzed. An organization known as the Rural Organizing Project (ROP) is discussed. The ROP has 80+ organizational network members. A founder for one of the ROP's former network members from 2021, Kerstin Arias, was arrested with her partner and father of her children for smuggling fentanyl and methamphetamine into the Central Oregon. Her connections to the ROP and other socialist organizations are examined. Morgan Schmidt, a candidate for Deschutes County Commissioner, is also connected to the ROP and its network members. The most interesting takeaway is that the local organizations that call patriots a "threat to the community" are the very same ones connected to communists, socialists, and marxists that are bringing deadly drugs into the community in large quantities.
