On this podcast I will be interviewing performers and colourful creatures from the entertainment world (actors, ballet dancers, drag queens and creative souls) and we'll be making you laugh as my guests and I regale you with our funniest on-stage moments, embarrassing audition experiences, devastating rehearsal room travesties, hilarious drama school memories, not to forget, all the random jobs we put ourselves through in order to survive whilst we are ...."resting". Hosted by Joseph Raisi-Varzaneh

River Roux; Strippers, Supermarkets, Stage and Sex work; all roads lead to JUICE !
    May 20 2025

This week I had the privilege of speaking to multi faceted, multi dimensional, multi talented human being River Roux!

I saw River's show 'Juice' at the Volksbühne Theatre in Berlin and I instantly wanted to speak to her - I was so fascinated

Her show explores the body, her body, an exploration of a gender-non conforming experience and we discuss this, the duality between theatre and sex work and everything that has led her to today and the creation of her art.

I really hope you guys enjoy listening to our fun chat and her incredible journey so far
