Understanding God's purpose for my life took me to uncover myself, coming to God empty handed. The perfect sound represents me closing my ears to the sounds of the world and hearing the audible sound of God. It was the moments in my life God deliberately disrupted His path of infinite stillness and silence, and introduced the audible sound. This episode focuses on the children of Israel, despite God's supernatural rescue, the Israelites seem unable to remain loyal to Him. Many times in our life we praise God, however, after God place us in the wilderness, our praise becomes stagnant. Similar to the Children of Israel we want to go back to a place of pain because we see the wilderness as unfamiliar pain, in our minds we rather go back to a place of comfort that was meant to destroy us. We become so comfortable in our pain, we do not realize the wilderness is a place of growth and true transformation.
