Ever feel like you're living on processed Jesus? A little Sunday school, a little movie, a few bumper stickers, and not much that actually feeds you. Organic Jesus is a short, casual show about faith, the Bible, and the questions we usually skip. Each episode takes one thing we think we know, strips off the additives, and looks at what's actually there, with history, humor, and probably too many pop-culture references. Under 10 minutes. No preservatives.Scott Douglas Christianisme Ministère et évangélisme Spiritualité

  • Would Jesus Take a Selfie? | Episode 5
    Oct 27 2026

How many photos of Jesus exist? Zero. The Gospels never even describe what he looked like. So would Jesus take a selfie? I think the answer says a lot about how we do faith, and why Christians disappoint us.

Organic Jesus is a short, casual show about faith, the Bible, and the questions we usually skip, with history, humor, and probably too many pop-culture references. No preservatives.

In this episode: a camera roll full of selfies, W-W-J-D bracelets, an acolyte dinner at Mrs. Smith's house, the night Jesus washed his friends' feet, why the first scandal in the early church was someone curating an image, the 1926 disappearance of a famous evangelist, and why Christianity might be a religion about them, not you.

If someone in church has hurt you, that hurt is real. I hope this episode is a gentle way back to what Jesus actually asked of us.

  • Doubting Thomas Got a Bad Rap | Episode 4
    Oct 20 2026

Peter denied Jesus three times and we call him "the Rock." Thomas asked to see the evidence once and got a name tag. Doubting Thomas has been taking the heat for two thousand years, and I think he got a bad rap. Mostly.

Organic Jesus is a short, casual show about faith, the Bible, and the questions we usually skip, with history, humor, and probably too many pop-culture references. No preservatives.

In this episode: what Thomas actually did before the doubting (he was ready to die with Jesus, and his honest question is the reason for one of the most famous lines in the Bible), the other disciples who doubted too, what happened when Jesus walked into a locked room, why Thomas's "My Lord and my God" may be the plainest statement of who Jesus is in the Gospel of John, and why doubt that stays in the room gets answered.

  • Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People? (God Answers With an Ostrich) | Episode 3
    Oct 13 2026

Why do bad things happen to good people? It's the biggest question there is, and the book of Job asks it head-on. When God finally answers, he talks about an ostrich. Stay with me, because I think that's one of the most comforting things in the Bible.

Organic Jesus is a short, casual show about faith, the Bible, and the questions we usually skip, with history, humor, and probably too many pop-culture references. No preservatives.

In this episode: Job's absurd wealth, a heavenly courtroom, what "the satan" actually means, the three friends who were at their best when they said nothing, five places that claim to have Job's tomb, and why God's answer from the storm isn't an explanation, but something better.

If you're hurting right now: you don't have to sit in it alone. Call a friend, a pastor, or a counselor.
