Optics Matter. They do. For each and every professing believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, we find a clear command in Scripture to "look carefully" at everything we think, say, do, and post. Optics matter as it relates to how we are perceived by others. It's not that we walk around constantly asking "what if" or walking on eggshells, it is all about living in a way that shows discernment. And, we all struggle with it to varying degrees. So whether it’s a social media post or out in the community we must also carefully think of how we are perceived by fellow disciples of Christ and to the unbelieving watching world.
