Welcome to Open the door! In this podcast, we are addressing the multifaceted theme of domestic violence and coercive control through a series of conversations with the people who know the most about it, victims and professionals working in that sector. Our aim is to talk about what goes down behind closed doors and to bring awareness about all the aspects of domestic abuse, to help listener who may be feeling trapped in a toxic situation by giving a voice to those who survived it. This podcast attempts to shine a light on this growing issue through conversations to try to understand its sources, identify the symptoms and offer strategies and resources available to both victims and perpetrators to change for the better.
