In today's special Remix episode we're revisiting our second live podcast recording! This was recorded live, in New York City, at the 7th annual Whisky Jewbilee.

The boyz, in front of an audience of 40 people, have a conversation with Justin Fornal and Chad Anderson (two of the three swimmers of The Great Islay Swim), and Simon Brooking (remember him from Season 2, Episode 7?) of Beam Suntory. The topic? Well, if you must know, The Great Islay Swim and the bottling Single Cask Nation is releasing to commemorate the swim!

...as usual, have a seat, have a pour, and listen in. Unless you're driving. If you're driving, be smart and stay sober but be sure to listen into the conversation!

Special thanks to:

- Weigh Down for allowing us to use their song "Wooden Monsters" as our theme song

- RØDE & Shure for making *really* great microphones

- Focusrite for making awesome USB receivers

- Joshua Hatton for producing and editing

A continuing segment for our "Extra! Extra!!" padcosts -- as part of the Single Cask Nation 15th anniversary, we're inviting in Nation members to join us in conversation to drink some SCN whisky, hear about their whisky journey, and sometimes they'll get sneak peek if upcoming whiskies (that last bit did not happen in this episode, mind you).

Listen in as Joshua sits down to talk and dram with Nation Member Michael Scott, one of our brightest stars in The Nation!

Greg Swartz and the team at Blacksmith & Jones are responsible for a number of notable documentaries. Those of us in the whisky-o-sphere surely know of "Water of Life Film," a documentary around the history and craft of Scotch whisky, or perhaps "Independent Spirits," which focused on Independent Bottlers (The J-Team are proud to have been featured in this film!).

Today we sit down with Greg to discuss his latest film, "West of Tradition" which focuses on American Single Malt Whisky. So much fun was had during this conversation and we got to understand a fair bit about the film making process. Joshua & Jason always enjoy their time with Greg but this conversation was especially good.
