Former NBA player Ryan Hollins joins the show to talk about the success of the NBA bubble and the importance of a winning streak for the Denver Nuggets. Cecil talks about the Chiefs going from pennies to getting everyone signed including Mahomes, Jones and Kelce. Cecil says cap gurus Brandt Tillis and Chris Shea have worked magic. Nick points out the shenanigans the Chiefs have used to make it work while the Broncos have not addressed Justin Simmons’ contract. The guys agree it’s a great day for tight ends and a bad day for the Broncos as the Chiefs do not appear to be tempering expectations. Sports agent Molly McManimie joins the show to talk about providing perspective and the big day for tight ends in the market. McManimie mentions what you want your impact to be as an agent and why some agents have a bad reputation. McManimie says once you sit down with the family and show them you know what you’re doing it doesn’t matter if you’re a female. Also, McManimie hints at another tight end contract in the works for Zach Ertz in the near future. Nick and Cecil talk about making sure their settings are set for ZOOM calls and why scouts become more important this offseason.
