  • Episode 10: Len Johnson Legacy | Lamin Touray
    Sep 16 2024

Come with me as I interview Lamin Touray | Actor | Entrepreneur | Activist about the legacy of Len Johnson. Lamin has dedicated years of his life to honouring an unsung, Mancunian hero. After he was sent an article in a group chat, Lamin felt compelled to vocalise the historic gem & began making his own reparations of an iconic yet tragic story.

Not only was Len Johnson one of the greatest boxers to walk this earth, he also fought for his beliefs out of the ring, resulting in the Colour Bar being removed in Manchester, and eventually nationwide. The colour bar disallowed people of colour from performing, socialising and competing in British titles… crazy right?!

There’s still huge amounts of work to be done when it comes to Black History and it continues with us.

We’re talking family ties, generational traumas and how we start to really break down these cycles before the next generations come and experience the same.

Kofi has written an inspirational autobiography along with a guided journal to help people access their highest self. In this episode we cover what’s inside and the reasons Kofi felt it needed to exist in the world.
