This is the My Music Viral Podcast and we figured we needed to do an introduction and let you all meet your host DJ Rede Beats. In this introduction we basically discuss how we're going to be publishing podcast episodes that help musicians get their music out to a larger audience for free.

He throws some shots at musicians who don't focus on their craft and improving the quality, but trust me it all be worth it in the next episode. DJ Rede Beats gives a slight sneak peak into whats ahead and what he'll be discussing on our first podcast episode being uploaded tomorrow and in the future.

The marketing tactics we've uncovered for musicians aren't discussed anywhere else and we don't understand why. So we've decided to be the first. Whats crazy is, you can find the info we're going to give you online somewhere, but it's going to be with marketing businesses, yet these same strategies can apply to marketing a musician.

The first episode is going to blow your minds with the info packed in it so make sure you tune in.

In this podcast episode (episode #1) of the My Music Viral Podcast, we go over how to use the search engines to create more brand awareness for you and get more reach and views on your music.

We specifically discuss leveraging the search engines, such as Google, and manipulating your keyword usage to become more visible to people searching the other search engines such as Soundcloud.

For example setting up web hosting with WP Engine and locking in your domain name (yourartistname.com) and building a website.

Using your own website and domain name is one of the most powerful tools you can use to market your music and unfortunately most do not use it to their full advantage, but this opens the gate for you to really take the search engines and fill the results with your brand.

Or you can use the power of free Wordpress websites, Weebly, Wix, and more to capitalize on keywords like "Free Drake Type Beat" "Freestyle on Lil Baby Beat" "Rolling Stones cover song" and so on. We talk about how you can use these terms to get more views on you and your music and drive traffic to you name and brand.

Using Google to increase your Soundcloud plays is easy when you leverage these other websites and embed your Soundcloud music player into your pages that are driving traffic for these optimized keywords. Pair this strategy with buying Soundcloud plays from a trusted provider and its a recipe for going viral.

We'll have more tricks coming down the line and this is just the first in the My Music Viral Podcast episodes.
