  • Moving Through Fear: What is it about Courage?
    Jan 29 2022

Courage, from the root word cœur or cor from French and Latin. In Sanskrit, shaurya or surya that is related to sun, our source of vitality. In Filipino, it is literally translated to lakas ng loob.

The main difference between brave and courage is with the heart. The latter moves through fear while being brave is a trait that is unique to some individuals and that is remarkable.

Ever since I started this podcast, I have been showing up and spilling my truth; wearing my heart on my sleeve even though the world does not really know about me.

And just like living in this pandemic, yes it's 2022 we are still in it. I started this podcast May 2020 and look where we are. That is why courage is my thrust for this year and that has also been my mantra and how I work as a yoga teacher, a fitness coach and as an individual.

This podcast my dear listener is changing...from Allan's Ray of Light to Moving Through Fear. Notice how the two words: move and fear are on different sides of a spectrum. And yet there's "through", that is courage I believe.
