    • Four Journaling Prompts for Mental Fitness | Mini Mental
      Jan 29 2021
I remember my first journal. I made it from an old binder, some clear wrapping paper, and a stapler. I starting writing in it and felt like I escaped to my own little world. In writing, I found control over my monstrous thought. We try to manage all of our thoughts in our heads. For people with mental health challenges that can be like trying to brush your teeth with Oreo cookies in your mouth. You end up being frustrated and get no cleaning done. So I find, journaling is a great clean-up for your mind. Listen to find out which prompts I use to write. • How to Deal With Mental Health Ignorance and a Parent with Schizophrenia
      Jan 15 2021
Raising awareness about mental health issues falls on every Muslim. It’s not just the people who suffer but everyone needs to speak up about it. When it comes to spreading myths and stigma about mental illnesses, there are a lot of people lined up. But when it comes to spreading awareness about it, we retreat. In this episode, I also to talk to Naz Akhtar about her father’s schizophrenia. I hope and pray you found benefit in my words.
