  • S7 E13 Scott Ferry, Lauren Scharhag & Lillian Necakov are back!
    May 25 2026

For this episode, we invited Scott Ferry, Lauren Scharhag and Lillian Necakov back for another conversation. Elizabeth basically had these three amazing writers in the virtual room together, and it is amazing. They read their works from their new books and talk like the three great friends and collaborators they are. (A few years ago, their collaborative book Midnight Glossolalia (Meat For Tea Press) was released, go listen to S4 E17 for more about that!

  • S7 E12 Dorion Sagan
    May 1 2026

This is one heck of an episode! This conversation between Dorion Sagan and Elizabeth is deeply fascinating. He talks about his father and mother and family, going deeply autobiographical. Dorion also reads from his recent book The Road to Hedotopia (Meat For Tea Press). This is one not to be missed!

WRITING: César Aira, (Dinner in particular, but also An Episode in the Life of a Landscape Painter and pretty much everything else he's written); Molly Pohlig (The Unsuitable); Anna Sewell (Black Beauty); The play I'm currently doing projection design for (and reading over and over) is called Beyond That Nothing Is Certain, written by Monica Isakstuen, performed at The Cherry Theater in Ithaca, New York.
    3. MUSIC: Melody's Echo Chamber (Unclouded is her newest album); Spell Blanket by Broadcast
    4. FILM: Director Lucile Hadžihalilović (The Ice Tower (2025) is her latest, but Earwig (2022) and Evolution (2015) are also fantastic); Director Steve McQueen (Education from the Small Axe series).
