This week, we are diving into some of the history of Disney's connection with conservation and edutainment! An opening day attraction, Conservation Station was updated to include Rafiki's Planet Watch and is now actively being re-themed to Bluey's Wild World (set to re-open May 26, 2026). Walt Disney had a love for animals and his legacy of creating education about wild animal life, ecosystems and the importance of preservation continues on at Rafiki's Planet Watch (soon to be Bluey's Wild World) in Animal Kingdom. This week we deep dive into the two-story, fantasyland dark ride, Alice in Wonderland. Opened in 1958, Alice in Wonderland has undergone many updates over the years, but still has some of the original magic touches, including an audio cameo from Goofy! You can thank imagineer, Claude Coates for adding this fun detail to lighten the experience. Listen in to learn more about the inspiration, imagineers involved and updates made to this classic ride!

Opened initially as an ice cream parlor and sourced with products from Carnation Dairy Farms in Washington State, the Carnation Cafe has evolved to now include classic homestyle meals, including some of Walt's personal favorites and showcases historic pictures of Walt and Disneyland.
