The Life Lab is a podcast discussing philosophies, beliefs, strategies, and tactics we’re employing in our own lives. Some ideas are rooted from childhood, others are adopted as we go. No topic is off-limits from business/entrepreneur-ism, money, relationships, mental health, diet/nutrition, fitness/exercise, to life in general. In a sentence, this is about how we're holistically optimizing our lives and discussing current topics. In the end, we hope to provide some value which you can apply to your life. Lastly, we want you catch a laugh from the perspective of two guys in their early thirties figuring it out as we go.

      Everette and Will discuss FLOW, what it is, how to get into flow more frequently, and why it’s beneficial.

      Flow definitions: 1) proceed or be produced smoothly, continuously, and effortlessly. 2) the action or fact of moving along in a steady, continuous stream

      Negativity and apathy can take away from flow. Whereas being in a positive state of mind, having purpose, intention, and no interruptions can help induce flow.

      Everette touched on that he thinks people will be more grateful and kind after coronavirus is past us. This article from Scientific American provides some research to back this up stating that it will spark post-traumatic growth in areas such as gratefulness, valuing their relationships more, and that they carpe diem.

      A discussion about dealing with life in quarantine. We discuss being aware of sensationalist/fake news, vitamins and habits to keep your immune system up, and we launched a fitness challenge.

      Life Lab Fitness Challenge: Walk/Run a total of 70 miles by May 1st. Stretch goal: 100 miles.

      We’re launching this challenge to encourage people to get outside, move their bodies, and get Vitamin D. To join we started a challenge on Nike Run Club. Add Will Dornes or Everette Adams as a friend and we’ll invite you to the challenge.
