TV icon Tim Lovejoy joins Liberty Rock Sport for an unfiltered conversation about his 30-year broadcasting career, the golden era of Saturday morning television, and why modern football feels disconnected from its fans.

Tim takes us back to the wild days of Soccer AM and chats about the long shifts and 48 hour parties with celebrities in the rugby club over the road. He explains why some skits worked and why lots of other ones didn't.

A passionate Chelsea fan, Tim gives his honest take on the current state of the Premier League - tackling rising ticket prices, bloated squads, FFP loopholes, and why fans are slowly being priced out of the game they love. He also shares his favourite personal moments, from getting starstruck by Kevin Keegan and playing against Glenn Hoddle, to a surreal attempt to book Diego Maradona for £5,000 in cash.

In this episode:
- How Tim broke into TV from hospital radio to The Big Breakfast
- The behind-the-scenes chaos and work ethic that built Soccer AM
- Why modern football is broken: Squad bloat, ticket costs, and corporate greed
- Chelsea FC predictions, managerial turnover, and life after Pep Guardiola
