    The Importance of Tawḥīd, a lecture by Ustādh Abu Rayhaanah Yahya (hafidhahullāh), based on the words of Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (hafidhahullāh) • Tawḥīd must be spoken about constantly, clarified, learned and acted upon, because happiness in this life and the next is attained through it • Its definition: singling out Allāh with all worship and abandoning the worship of everything besides Him; hardly a sūrah of the Qurʾān is free of it • The false claim that the Muslim world has no need to learn Tawḥīd, and the Companions new to Islām who asked for a tree to hang their weapons on for blessing • Knowledge is taken away by the death of the scholars, so Tawḥīd must be given the utmost attention • Calling people to good manners or to leave alcohol and zinā without Tawḥīd is a building without a foundation, bound to collapse • The Prophet ﷺ spent thirteen years in Makkah calling to Tawḥīd, and sent Muʿādh to call first to the testimony that none has the right to be worshipped except Allāh • The polytheists affirmed Tawḥīd ar-Rubūbiyyah; the dispute between the Messengers and their people was over Tawḥīd al-Ulūhiyyah • Worship of the heart, tongue and limbs, and the two conditions for a deed to be accepted: sincerity and following the Sunnah • Every innovation is misguidance: Ibn Masʿūd and the people counting stones in the masjid • Those who earned Allāh's anger and those who went astray, the deeds of the disbelievers like scattered dust and a mirage, and ʿaqīdah as the head of the body • Sūrat al-ʿAṣr: belief, righteous action, advising one another to the truth and to patience Streamed LIVE at The Salafi Centre of Manchester on 11/1/25

    In Defence of Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdil-Wahhāb (raḥimahullāh), from the explanation of The Conditions of the Prayer by Shaykh ʿAbdul-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād (hafidhahullāh), translated and explained by Shaykh Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullāh) • The false claim that Shaykh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbdil-Wahhāb made takfīr of Muslims, and Shaykh ʿAbdul-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād's defence of him • The general ruling (whoever commits shirk is a mushrik) and the specific ruling on an individual, which only comes after the proof is established • His own words in ad-Durar as-Saniyyah: "If we do not declare a disbeliever the one who worships the idol at the grave of ʿAbdul-Qādir … due to their ignorance … Glory be to You, this is a great slander" • His letter to the people of al-Qaṣīm (explained by Shaykh al-Fawzān) and his statements in Majmūʿ Muʾallafāt that blanket takfīr is a slander of his enemies • He did not rebel against the Ottomans: their rule did not reach Najd, and shirk had spread at the graves, as with the domes over al-Baqīʿ • Calling upon other than Allāh, even as "intercessors", is shirk (Sūrat Yūnus 18); shirk is the greatest sin, and the people most deserving of the Prophet's ﷺ intercession are those who say lā ilāha illallāh sincerely • The Takfīrīs cut and paste from Nawāqiḍ al-Islām and ignore its ending, and ignore the principle in The Six Fundamental Principles on hearing and obeying the rulers • Hearing and obeying the rulers in good, not rebelling with the tongue or the sword, the example of Imām Aḥmad, and advising the ruler in private; "the Religion is sincere advice"

    Make the Most of the Last Ten Nights, a Jumuʿah khuṭbah by Ustādh Abdul Hakeem Mitchell (hafidhahullāh) • Allāh swears by time in the Qurʾān, which shows its importance: time is a blessing to be used in His obedience • "Be keen on what benefits you and seek the help of Allāh": no good deed is done except by the tawfīq of Allāh • Ramaḍān is the month of fasting, night prayer and recitation of the Qurʾān, and its days pass quickly • Whoever has done well should continue, and whoever has fallen short should not despair, for the last ten nights and Laylat al-Qadr are still ahead • The Prophet ﷺ made iʿtikāf in the last ten days until Allāh took his soul: stay in the masjid if you can, and do not waste the time socialising Recorded on 29/3/24 (19 Ramaḍān 1445)
