    Dr. Adrian Bustillos has over 19 years of experience, starting as a science teacher and progressing to leadership roles. He has a strong foundation in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and school improvement. Adrian has spearheaded the creation of new schools, implemented successful grant-funded programs, and expanded access to high-quality learning options, such as career and technical education (CTE), performing arts, visual arts, online learning, and college, career, and military readiness (CCMR).

    Adrian earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science and master’s degree in educational leadership and foundations from the University of Texas at El Paso. He also has a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from New Mexico State University. Adrian is committed to educational equity, making him a powerful advocate for students, particularly those from underserved communities.

    Daisy serves as the assistant dean and certification officer in the School of Education at Central Connecticut State University. She most recently served as assistant superintendent of teaching and learning for Hartford Public Schools, where she oversaw PK–12 curriculum, instruction, and assessment in one of Connecticut’s largest districts. Daisy is a bilingual educator with 25 years of experience in urban public schools.

    Dr. Daisy Torres-Hill co-designed the Dual Language Academy at Dwight Bellizzi, and under her leadership, more than 800 Hartford students earned the Seal of Biliteracy, recognizing and honoring their bilingualism and biliteracy. In addition, she co-developed the Hartford Principal Leadership Academy (HPLA) and the Hartford Assistant Principal Leadership Academy (HAPLA), both “grow-your-own” programs designed to cultivate and retain leadership talent within the school district. Daisy also spearheaded the recruitment and retention of teachers from Puerto Rico through the innovative Paso a Paso teacher recruitment program.

    Daisy received bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and Spanish, as well as a master’s degree in TESOL and bilingual education from Southern Connecticut State University. She earned a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Connecticut. Daisy is a member of the Connecticut Association of Bilingual and Biliteracy Education (CABBE), the Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (ALAS), and the Connecticut Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (CALAS).

    Cindy Flores works on strengthening school-family partnerships and ensuring that families have access to services and resources that remove barriers to student success. She believes we are always stronger when we work together, and she has learned that meaningful change happens when people are willing to listen, build trust, and focus on what truly matters. Cindy leads with the kind of empathy and understanding she wants extended to her own family.

    Cindy received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She earned two master’s degrees in elementary education and school administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Cindy is a member of the National Association of Bilingual Educators (NABE) and the Nevada Association of School Administrators.
