      In the third episode of Kick It Up, Tobin welcomes some of the coaches who are involved in representing Team Newfoundland in the Canada Games. In this episode, we are joined by Phil Molloy, Connie, Brian, and Wayne to discuss how they are preparing for the Canada Games in 2025. The coaches discuss their backgrounds in soccer and moving up the ranks to being selected to coach their respected teams and how the NLSA program is helping the players be self-taught or aware on the field. Tobin gets a few tips and pointers along the way on how to handle players in a social media world and the importance of adapting your style to this next generation of players.       In our first episode of Kick It Up, Tobin chats with THEN Newfoundland and Labrador Technical Director, Mark Marshall. Marshall. Mark has now moved on to another role outside NLSA but is still involved in the Canada Games as a volunteer coach. In this episode, Mark discusses how he joined the NLSA, the five-year plan of getting the Canada Games to St. John's, and how the association has been preparing both the players and coaches. Marshall talks about the impacts a good showing in these games can have on the association and its programs and the expectations of the players and coaches involved.
