When Justin Knight was three years old, he left a yard full of playing kids, walked into the neighbor’s house, and took a nap in their bed. Nobody knew where he’d gone.
Justin is the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministry at Old North Church in Canfield, Ohio. In this episode of Know Thy Shepherd, Bruce Chimani sits down with him to talk about growing up reserved, a scavenger hunt blind date at Cedarville University, his apprenticeship at Old North, and the online MDiv he finished along the way. There’s also the matter of a pastor who spends his free time on World War II history.
Bruce brings out old photos and Justin tells the stories behind them, before a round of WWII quiz.
Know Thy Shepherd is a conversation series with the pastors of Old North Church. Each episode is about the person behind the pulpit, and the story of how God made him who he is.
