      Boomers didn't want us to have evaluations for possible "shortcomings" like ADHD and Autism, so we've had to do it ourselves. Learning that you have a different and divergent neurotype late in life comes with a complex series of challenges, the first of which is understanding the condition. While ADHD and Autism have been stereotyped as pathologies that come about through environmental circumstances and make life terrible, they are simply different ways of thinking and processing experiences. Once we learn what these neurotypes are really about, we can more fully embrace who we are.
