  • Diagnosing: The Summer I Turned Pretty Characters
    Sep 9 2025

This is the seventh episode in my series of “Diagnosing” where I, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, analyze and, if necessary, diagnose fictional characters from TV and movies.

In this episode I analyze and diagnose characters from the hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty (:

In honor of the last two episodes coming out this week and next, hear my takes on diagnoses, and treatment recommendations for some of the main series characters!

    Thanks for listening!

*Disclaimer: this podcast episode is just for entertainment, not meant to be used to diagnose and treat real people. Over-diagnosing is a big issue, so I am only analyzing and diagnosing based on how the character presents on television or in a movie, and if it warrants a diagnosis in my professional opinion.

This episode is simply for information and entertainment purposes. This episode is not a substitute for therapy.

  • Signs That I Was Meant To Be a Therapreneur
    Jul 26 2025

Today marks one year since starting my private practice Vital Mind Therapy!

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a business owner or have my own private practice. But looking back over the past year, there were subtle signs—values, interests, and moments of clarity—that pointed me in this direction.

This episode shares some of those reflections: the clues I overlooked at the time, and how they ultimately shaped my decision to build something of my own.

This first year of private practice has been challenging, energizing, humbling, and incredibly fulfilling—and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you're on a similar path (or a completely different one), I’d love to hear about it. Feel free to comment or DM me!
