To say it’s been a tough few weeks is an understatement ghouls and germs but alas here we are! The show must go on as Freddie Mercury and Queen told us, and while our hearts our heavy it’s the things we love and can still get excited for that bring us some small comforts. On top of all that winter seems to be most certainly coming, so we’d hate to leave you without content to enjoy on this Just Another Friday Night! It’s the AFC/NFC championship weekend for the NFL! We got a stellar Masters of the Universe trailer, Darth Maul Shadow Lord trailer and Invincible Season 4 trailer! Among other things! What are you most excited about out? 2025 and Stranger Things have come to an end. Before we look ahead to the awesomeness of 2026 we wanted to look back and just have a JAFN style discussion about some of our fave things from this past year. Remember that show “Into the Badlands”? Yeah, we don’t either but if that show was about the Predator and the things going on in this flick we’d have been huge fans! Hot on the heels of Killer of Killers comes the latest installment from the Predator franchise with Predator: Badlands. Now we don’t have to tell you initial reactions to the this seemed poor but since its release we’ve heard nothing but the positive reviews save a handful. In his 2025 Netflix film FRANKENSTEIN, del Toro puts his own unique brand on the classic tale. Coupled with performances from Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth and Christoph Waltz this version of the monster tale may be the best since the original with Boris Karloff. Step into madness with as we discuss a modern masterpiece!

The story of government assassin Al Simmons and his deal with the devil that made him into Hellspawn caught the eye of HBO Animation in the late 90s.
