Husband and wife Jo and Igor explain how they talk to their young son Sacha about his traumatic accident, how his brain injury continues to affect his development, and why they don’t always agree about how best to prepare him for life.

    Picking Up The Pieces is brought to you by London’s Air Ambulance Charity. Although all the stories in this series begin with the advanced medical trauma team caring for people on the roadside, Picking Up The Pieces asks what happens when patients and their loved ones return home and have to adjust to lives that have changed beyond recognition.
