Generational curses are one of the most talked about things in the Christian community, more-so now than before. A generational curse is a habit or behavior that has been passed down from generation to generation. This usually starts with the first or second generation of your family (great-grandparent or grandparent). To better understand, a generational curse think of a root beneath the surface that is connected to many vines and produces bad fruit above the surface. My family like many families suffers from generational curses that causes bondage, afflictions, suffering, and bad habits/patterns.
This episode briefly covers a story from my childhood and explains how words can indeed hurt, tarnish a person's identity and create false narratives in that person's mind. This is also a form of a generational curse.
