On Inside the Nation, I have a conversation with former San Jose SaberCats great and the current Exec. V.P. of the Arena Football League Players’ Union (AFLPU), Steve Watson. We discuss his experience in the league as a member of the San Jose SaberCats prior to the league restructuring and then with the Tulsa Talons and Dallas Vigilantes. Then we move on in the conversation to discuss life after the league and thoughts on the overall thought of where the AFL is today and headed in the future.

Established in 2016, Eric brought the idea to Tom, who was also a very strong fan of the SaberCats and league agreed to join in on conversations with players, coaches, team staff members, team dancers and league officials to help sprea the word of the Arena Football League and the experience a fan can have through conversation.
