  • #254: Why Your Mind Won't Stop Thinking During Meditation
    Sep 5 2026

If your mind races every time you meditate, it doesn't mean you're bad at meditation—or that your practice isn't working. In this video, I'll explain what all that thinking actually means, why it's a normal part of meditation, and what to do when your mind inevitably wanders.

  • #252: The Meditation Mistake Nobody Talks About (Hint: If Meditation Doesn't Feel Peaceful, You're NOT Doing It Wrong!)
    Aug 21 2026

What if meditation isn't supposed to make you feel better? In this podcast episode, I break down one of the biggest misconceptions about meditation, and show you how to work with racing thoughts, difficult emotions, stress, and discomfort (instead of trying to get rid of them).

DOWNLOAD THE FREE GUIDED MEDITATION: www.deeprootedbliss.com/free

You'll learn why meditation feels so hard to achieve when you first begin, why experienced meditators might still struggle with silent meditations, and a four-step practice — Notice, Get Curious, Allow, Observe — for overcoming any obstacle you face in your practice (and finally processing what comes up).

  • #251: My First 100k Ultramarathon: Exceeding My Wildest Dreams Through Pain & Presence
    Oct 1 2025

POP-UP EPISODE!! Have you ever failed at something only to discover that failure was exactly what you needed to succeed beyond what you thought possible?

After missing my qualifying time in my 50-mile race in April, I could have given up. Instead, I floated through summer while focusing on one specific weakness—running uphill—and found myself toeing the line at my first 100k ultramarathon.

What happened over those 62 miles and 10 loops taught me lessons that go far beyond running, lessons about pain, presence, and the power of staying exactly where you are even when everything hurts.

    In this episode, you'll hear:

    • The mindset shift that transforms pain from a permanent state to a temporary teacher
    • Why "staying here" in the present moment is the secret to pushing through the hardest parts of any challenge
    • How my "failure" at 50 miles became the exact preparation I needed for this success
    • The practice of being in the flow—neither rigid nor chaotic—that carried me through 62 miles
    • What happened when I asked my mom for the time and realized I was achieving something I never thought possible

This isn't just a race recap—it's a story about how our biggest setbacks prepare us for our wildest successes, and how presence, not perfection, is what carries us across every finish line in life. Whether you're a runner, a yoga teacher, or anyone pursuing a meaningful goal, these lessons will change how you approach challenge, pain, and possibility.

  • #250: From Perfection Mindset to Problem-Solving Mindset: How to Turn Every Challenge Into Your Next Breakthrough
    Jul 11 2025

Do you have big dreams for your wellness business, but find yourself hesitating before you take action? Thinking things like: What if this program doesn't fill? What if I try something new and it feels awkward? What if I put myself out there and it doesn't go as planned?

These "what if" scenarios keep you researching, planning, and perfecting instead of actually moving forward.

You're not lazy or uncommitted – you're just caught in the perfection mindset that says everything has to go right the first time, or it means you're not cut out for this. But what if there was a completely different way to think about challenges and mistakes?

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • The two mindsets that determine whether challenges become roadblocks or rocket fuel for your growth
    • How the problem-solving mindset transforms every obstacle into an opportunity to level up
    • The exact process to shift from "Why is this happening to me?" to "How is this happening FOR me?"
    • Four powerful questions that instantly activate your problem-solving brain
    • Why your future self already has the answers you need (and how to access them)
    • How to recognize when you're stuck in perfectionist paralysis and what to do about it

Stop letting imperfect outcomes convince you that you're not cut out for bigger things. Your challenges aren't evidence that you should quit – they're invitations to grow stronger, smarter, and discover your innate capability. When you learn to see every problem as solvable and every setback as setup for your comeback, you'll stop avoiding opportunities and start embracing them. Your breakthrough is waiting on the other side of that problem you're trying to avoid. Let's figure this out together! Hit play, and let's get started!

  • #249: From Mortified to Masterful: How One Terrible Presentation Changed My Life
    Jul 3 2025

Picture this: You're standing in front of 40 business owners, your hands are shaking, your voice is trembling, and you're watching everyone's confused faces as you completely bomb your presentation. That was me 11 years ago – and it was the best thing that ever happened to my career. If you've ever put yourself out there in a bigger way and it didn't go as well as you'd hoped, this episode is for you.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • The exact moment my worst presentation became the catalyst for my entire speaking career
    • Why your brain perceives uncomfortable situations as life-or-death (and how to override this response)
    • The 5-step process to transform imperfect moments into massive growth opportunities
    • How to shift from emotional avoidance to emotional processing when things go wrong
    • Why putting yourself out there imperfectly serves you better than waiting for perfection
    • The simple reframe that turns "this happened to me" into "this happened for me"
    • How to chase discomfort instead of avoiding it (and why this accelerates your growth)
    • Real strategies for having your own back when your inner critic goes into overdrive

Stop letting fear of imperfection keep you small. Your most cringe-worthy moments aren't signs to quit – they're invitations to level up. When you learn to see every "failure" as data and every uncomfortable feeling as your next area of growth, you'll stop avoiding opportunities and start embracing them. Your breakthrough is waiting on the other side of that thing you're afraid to do imperfectly.

  • #248: Goal Setting That Actually Feels Good: Ditch the Pressure, Keep the Progress
    Jun 27 2025

What if your goals feel overwhelming not because they're too big, but because you're setting them for all the wrong reasons? Many of us approach goal-setting like a test to prove our worth. No wonder it triggers anxiety, self-doubt, heaviness, and fear of failure. There's a different way that actually energizes you – and it starts with flipping why you're setting goals in the first place.

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • Why setting goals to prove your worth keeps you stuck in fear-based action
    • How to affirm your worth BEFORE you set goals so you pursue them from wholeness, not desperation
    • The difference between "proof-seeking" and "growth-seeking" goals and why it changes everything
    • Why you actually achieve goals faster when you're not trying to validate yourself through them
    • The simple reframe that stops goal-setting from triggering your imposter syndrome

Stop torturing yourself with goals that feel like burdens. When you set goals from a place of already knowing your worth, pursuing them becomes an act of self-love rather than self-improvement. You'll move faster, feel better, and actually enjoy the journey – which is exactly how goal-setting should feel.
