    Ahoy Froggers,
Time for another episode of BFRH. Today’s episode is a show of 2 parts. Part 1 is basically a conventional edition of BFRH, but for part 2 we venture to the Beacon Theatre in New York for the 20th Edition of the Gov’t Mule New Years Eve Show on the 31st December 2025. In previous years we have run the entire show over 14 or 15 weeks, but for this year we have condensed it down to one show. Today we are featuring songs from the year 1971 that was part of the NYE show. Please note that this edition is going to be a 3 hour episode

  • Episode 1120: Everyone Deserves Music with Scott - 18 January 2026
    Jan 18 2026

That creative genius of our time - David Lynch - departed this existence one year ago. What a legacy! We bookend this show with the amazing Rebekah Del Rio plus there's also an original 1961 Linda Scott song from the Mulholland Drive soundtrack. And a classic from Sharon Van etten from Twin Peaks The Return. Part 2 of my interview with Wilding's Justin Stokes. To set the scene either side we hear from XTC, Ian Dury and the little known Martin Newell (Justin's choice). Elsewhere we have 2025 tunes from Stereolab, Goose, Geese (yes really), Mei Semones, The Northern Folk, Peel Dream Magazine, Tunde Adebimpe, Mogwai and Brooklyn's Margaret Glaspy. We love Glaspy's work here so much that we threw in a track from her 2016 album 'Emotions and Math' as well as one from 2023's 'Echo The Diamond'.
