À propos de ce contenu audio
In the twenty-sixth episode of In the Zone, Dr. Mark Crear sits down with Santa Clarita legend Jim Ventress, the former executive director of the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley, to reflect on a lifetime of faith, leadership, and youth advocacy. Jim shares his journey from military service and early corporate success at UPS to discovering his true calling in youth mentorship, leading to a 29-year tenure building full-service club facilities that provide safe havens, tutoring, and STEM programs for local youth. The conversation explores how trusting in faith through life's unexpected detours helps individuals stay in their performance zone while emphasizing the lasting impact of servant leadership throughout retirement.

The race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but to those who endure to the end.
