Identity Check is a daily two-minute reflection on where your identity actually comes from, hosted by Aaron Beauclair.

The premise is simple and it runs against most of how we live. You are loved and chosen by God before you have produced anything, that truth does not move when your results do, and mission flows out of it instead of earning it. Most of us have the order reversed, and we tie our worth to our to do list. Not achieving feels like a verdict on who we are.

This is for people who work hard and quietly measure themselves by output. Business owners, parents, and anyone who needs the daily reminder: They are loved.

Every episode is recorded in one take and posted unedited, usually in the morning, and almost all of them run under three minutes. No music, no intro, nothing produced about it. It is one daily reflection to remind myself of the first truth.

New episode every day.

  • Known by the Father Without Hiding My Heart
    Oct 27 2026
I sat with the simple fact that I am a son of the Father, and that he made me and sees me and already knows the desires of my heart. What kept coming up was how much I want to stop hiding that heart from him, and stop performing the version of me I think he is looking for, because what he actually wants is to see me and know me. I prayed through the fear that shows up when I am that honest, and I let myself rest in the embrace of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit all around me. My one ask for the day was to know my own heart a little bit more.

  • God's Love Chose to Create Me on Purpose
    Oct 16 2026
I sat with the truth that God did not have to create me and yet he chose to, with all my quirks and weaknesses included, and that settles something in me. I asked him how to love the people around me the way he loves, with the kind of patience and forgiveness that still holds its ground in what is true. Out of that identity there is a mission he has given me, and I want to carry it by his grace rather than by my own effort.

  • My Identity Comes From the Father, Not Performance
    Oct 14 2026
I led a business buyers meeting today and people told me afterward that I did great, and even though that felt good, I noticed how fast I started measuring myself by how well I performed. So I needed the reminder that my identity comes from the Father and not from that meeting, and that he calls me by name, he knows me, and he looks on me with love. I thanked him for the work he put in front of me and asked him to share in my joy, and I asked for help to keep stepping out and revealing who I am instead of holding back in fear.
