Listening is more than what it implies. When used correctly, it's about engagement, rapport, and showing genuine interest in someone else. The result of good listening is in how you respond.
Listening is understanding. And when we understand, we can respond once again accordingly. We create openness, safety, respect and my favourite word.. trust.
When we trust, we create the conditions for someone else to show up as they are. Which can be a very powerful thing indeed.
