College basketball is back! On today's episode I look back at some of Monday's biggest action on what was a marathon day of hoops.

I talk about the top ranked team in the nation Florida, and their impressive showing against Miami.

I go back over the double header of games from Las Vegas, and highlight a couple other games as well.

Today's episode marks the season debut of my Mid Major of the Week segment, and features a team that sprung perhaps the biggest upset during Monday's action.

Looking ahead, I preview a trio of games to watch later this week, including the NCAA Tournament Final rematch in Boston.

I also briefly rant, yet again, on the ongoing eligibility issues plauging the game. All that and more on the show today.

It's the final day before the season tips off in Italy. I run through my rankings of the top 25 teams in the country leading into the season. I compare my rankings to the AP version, and...there are a few disagreements.

Today's episode also marks the return of Sooner Saturday, and a brief preview of the first week of action for Oklahoma.

Some more eligibility discussion takes place (of course), and I preview a few of the biggest games in the crowded Monday night schedule. A double header in Las Vegas takes centre stage, and find out who I think will win each matchup.

All that and more on Hoops w/ JVZ!

On today's episode, no more team-by-team breakdowns. I do however run through each of the major conferences, and give predictions of who I think will win the league, and who the Player of the Year will be in each conference. Plenty of sleepers and dark horses for each category as well.

As the season approaches, regular features like Sooner Saturday and Mid Major of the Week will be returning in the coming weeks.

It's my final episode of roster breakdowns, as I look at a couple teams from each of the Pac 12, West Coast Conference, Atlantic 10 and Mountain West. I also take a close look at last year's Cinderella team, the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks.

Of course, it wouldn't be a college basketball show without talking about a few fifth year players looking for eligibility.

The season draws ever closer, and Hoops w/ JVZ will have you covered from now until the nets are cut down in Detroit next April!

My final season preview episode will be Tuesday, with looks at Player of the Year candidates from all the major conferences, and predictions on which teams I think will win their leagues.

The last of the Power conferences takes centre stage on the show today. Team-by-team breakdowns of the Big East, including powerhouses UConn and St John's.

The Big East also features a couple teams that could be sleepers to enter the expanded March Madness field this season.

To start the episode I briefly discuss a couple of major names returning to the college ranks, and update the status of a couple other players looking to gain their fifth season.

Tune in Saturday for a Best of the Rest episode, where I break down some major teams outside of the Power Conferences, including one of the best teams in the nation every year from the Pacific Northwest.

Yet another MEGA episode breaking down the Big 12 conference team-by-team, including two of the best teams in the nation a season ago Houston & Arizona.

Lots of good talent in this conference this year, so if your favourite team resides in the Big 12, check this one out!

Before I get into it though, I briefly discuss the ongoing issue of fifth year players seeking eligibility.

Coming up on Tuesday is the Big East conference, which features some heavy hitters as well.

Side Note: I just purchased a microphone, so bear with me while I try to figure out the levels and such.

Another MEGA episode, breaking down the Big Ten Conference team-by-team.

As with my other Conference previews, I look at the impact players for each team, and offer a brief prediction about how the season will play out.

This episode features the World Champion Michigan Wolverines of course, and how they will look to defend their title.

Remember to tune in Saturday for my look at the Big 12.

It's the ACC's day on the show. I go team-by-team through the massive 18 team conference, breaking down each roster and predicting what the season may hold.

Duke, UNC & Louisville are probably among the best teams in the whole country, and there a few sleeper teams to watch as well.

Before I dove into that, there was some breaking coaching news to deal with from the Big Ten.

Speaking of the Big Ten, that will be the next conference breakdown, coming up on Tuesday.
