For the woman who is white-knuckling her way through something she can't fix—you were never the one holding it together anyway.
In this debut episode, Star shares the moments that cracked her open: a bad fall at SFO that left her unable to walk, followed by a heart attack and the wreckage of that season. If you’ve been pretending you're in charge because you're afraid of what happens if you let go, this is for you. We’re sitting with the God who holds what we can’t, and the peace that shows up only when we finally stop pretending we’re the ones in control.
In this episode:
-
The Illusion of Control: Why "white-knuckling" is so exhausting and why we do it.
-
The SFO Moment: How physical helplessness became the doorway to spiritual strength.
-
Refuge and Strength: What it actually means for God to be "ever-present" when your world is falling apart.
Scripture Meditation:
-
Psalm 46:1 — "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
