She also shares the WORLDLY and KINGDOM frameworks from her financial teaching and introduces a practical Steward's Audit to help listeners examine their spending, assignments, and influences.

This episode challenges you to ask a deeper question: Are you managing money according to your God-given assignment, or are you spending to satisfy someone else's expectations?

1. What am I funding to be seen? Name it and consider pausing it for 30 days.

2. What has God assigned me to multiply? Identify one gift, business goal, giving commitment, or savings target.

3. Who is discipling my desires? Mute one voice that makes you feel behind and add one voice that teaches stewardship.

What if your financial struggle isn't really a money problem?

What if it is a money mindset you learned before you ever earned money?

In this episode, Dr. Chonta Haynes exposes the family money scripts that can quietly shape how we spend, save, give, receive, and steward money. From “we can't afford it” to “we don't talk about money,” these messages can become internal rules long after we've left our childhood homes.

Dr. Chonta introduces three common money scripts:

Scarcity: “There's never enough.”
Survival: “Just pay the bill and pray.”
Shame: “We don't talk about money.”

She then takes us into the story of the widow's oil in 2 Kings 4 and challenges us to recognize what we already have instead of continually focusing on what we lack.

“How would a good steward handle this?”
