I know you might be thinking this lady is obsessed with her dog. And I am. He is pure magic and he’s a really good example of medical astrology in general and the places it meets TCM and TCVM.

This morning on my walk I had a somewhat embarrassing epiphany. Despite studying TCM for 20 years I was missing a very real big piece of the thought process while trying to heal Gus’s digestive issues.

Despite changing his food more times than I can count I was not considering the energetics and what the temperature signature of the food was doing to, not just his symptoms, but the root cause.

I was going down loads of research rabbit holes, running tests, changing foods, trying supplements and probiotics, and then donating said supplements, food and probiotics to a local rescue when they didn’t work or made things worse.

Rinse and repeat. For two years.

Cracking the code took me stepping back and looking at the full picture. Including incorporating his medical astrology, elemental constitution and the root pattern of his symptoms.

I hope you will find some support within this episode that might make you think about food and healing a little bit differently. And that you remember with all the shiny distractions in the world of health and biohacking that food is foundational medicine.

I’ve been extra marinating in medical astrology as I build out a portal and training for The Collective and it is still one of my absolute favorite branches of astrology. It offers SO MUCH clarity, support, validation and practical action unique to you.

Every physician should understand + utilize medical astrology foundations.

It used to actually be a part of every medical practice in Hellenistic times and Carl Jung is now known for using it with his psychiatric patients.

I share a little bit around my own medical astrology, Neptune in the 6th, and the fire pattern Gus (my beloved 2yr old cattle dog mix) and I share + how it differs.

I dive into Gus’s medical astrology around his chronic health patterns: nervous system dysregulation, hypersensitivity, digestive issues, hyper motility and acid reflux and the major breakthrough we had this week through the lens of his 12th House.
