From Ridgeland, South Carolina to professional football, the music industry, and more than 85 million views on YouTube — this is a story about what happens when you refuse to let one chapter define you.

In this episode of Going Mach 5, I sit down with a former NFL and CFL athlete whose journey has taken him far beyond the football field. After becoming a 4x First-Team All-American and HBCU Hall of Fame player at Winston-Salem State University, he went on to spend time with the Buffalo Bills and BC Lions before eventually stepping into an entirely different world.

After football, he found himself behind the camera, working as a videographer and photographer alongside some of the biggest artists in music. But a platform he first discovered back in middle school would eventually become one of the biggest opportunities of his life: YouTube.

Today, he's generated more than 85 million views and built an audience of over 70,000 subscribers across his platforms, with faceless YouTube channels becoming a major focus of his business.

We talk about growing up as the oldest of five in South Carolina, feeling like he was always behind, becoming an elite athlete, experiencing professional football, navigating life after the game, entering the music industry, rediscovering YouTube, and learning how to reinvent yourself when the original plan changes.
